Merleyn Bell is a distinguished professional with a breadth of expertise in political strategy and government affairs. With an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades, she now uses her wealth of experience in strategic planning, policymaking, and campaigning to help educate and empower a new generation of leaders.
In 2018, Merleyn shattered barriers by clinching a historic victory, becoming the first person of color and the second woman to ever represent her hometown of Norman, Oklahoma in the state House of Representatives. Concurrently, Merleyn steered a thriving campaign management enterprise as a Founding Partner at Cobalt Prairie, a woman-owned and operated political consulting firm.
During her tenure in the legislature, Merleyn earned numerous accolades, including being named Legislator of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Oklahoma Coalition of Advocates for Behavioral Health.
